Thought

Beloved of the Lord, the Lord will bestow or lay up in store for His people a garment of praise. No longer will they be robed in shame or disgrace, their accusers will be silenced forever. Having thus been clothed, let us therefore clothe ourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ and make no provision to satisfy the desires of the flesh. Let us walk in the example Christ gave us as He walked this earth and shared our life, let us also walk in His Resurrection. Then we will be comforted because the Lord is by our side. Let us throw away those black clothes (anything that draws us back). For the Lord our God will deliver us and our rejoicing will last forevermore; you only need to believe and trust in Him.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we praise You for your presence in our lives, and for all your goodness that You shower upon Your children in Jesus Christ. We thank You for Your promises to us and hope for tomorrow. May we not lose heart in our “wilderness” (trials and tribulations) but look to the bright future ahead of us in Jesus’ name, Amen.
